Monkey’s Fist Sailing Ltd is a family run enterprise offering bespoke offshore training and crewing courses to individuals and groups.
We are open all year round and our range of services can help you if you are a seasoned sailor and need some assistance before a big trip; or if you are just starting out in offshore sailing and would like to develop your sailing skills and confidence while gaining qualifications.
We are an RYA recognised training establishment for teaching shorebased courses including RYA Day Skipper Theory and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Theory.
- Many of our shorebased courses can now be provided in an online, live video classroom with upto 4 remote students plus the instructor.
- We can also offer individual tuition via an online video classroom to support your specific requirements eg sailing in a particular area, or help with self study.

For practical courses (including RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper, RYA Coastal Skipper plus Yachtmaster Preparation and Exam) we can intorduce you to RYA practical schools in UK or overseas.
Or for simply cruising, introduction to offshore sailing, miles building, confidence building or owner assistance we can arrange: skippers, crew or even charter the yacht.
We offer / arrange both theory and practical sail training tailored to your particular needs, at the venue of your choice and within the constraints of your diary.
